Commercial Cleaning Job Description:
20-30 hours per week, including driving time.
Commercial cleanings take place outside of normal business hours and are primarily scheduled between 5pm-11pm. There is flexibility to work additional hours later in the evenings and/or on weekends, but that is not required.
The majority of hours are spent doing standard maintenance (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash collection, and cleaning kitchens & bathrooms) with occasional initial/deep cleanings. The work is moderately physically demanding.
There may be opportunities for daytime hours doing residential steam cleanings.
Preferred start date on or before Nov 1st.
Residential Cleaning Job Description:
20-35 hours per week, including driving time.
The majority of our work is cleaning the private residences of our regular clients. There are occasional vacation rental turnovers, 1-off deep-cleans, and move-in cleanings. This work can be aerobic and moderately physically demanding. During the day there is regular communication with our team via text, as well as in-person communication with some clients. After your initial training period, the majority of jobs are done independently with occasional team-cleans.
Everything is scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am-6pm (8am starts are occasionally available for early birds). We work around the availability and timing preferences of our team. There are occasional opportunities for additional hours on weekends, but weekends are not required.
Preferred start date on or before Nov 1st.
Compensation:
$22/hr starting, with annual raises up to $26/hr.
Paid training at $17/hr.
3-month trial period at $20/hr.
Paid Time Off (starting at 1 hour for every 30 worked).
Annual bonuses.
Paid travel time.
Fully paid between jobs.
Excess driving is paid for jobs farther than 20 minutes from your home.
Required Experience:
At least 1 year of professional cleaning or 3+ years in another physical trade.
2+ years of experience working as part of a team.
2+ years of experience working and communicating directly with clients/customers.
Other Requirements:
Comfort working a physical job for at least 20 hours per week.
Ability to carry a cleaning bucket, mop, & vacuum cleaner to and from offices and/or houses & up and down stairs.
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Everyone must have their own, reliable car.
Excellent communication skills, both with our team and with clients.
Proficiency with Google Calendar.
Availability to start on or before November 1st.
